* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central, northeast, northern, and southern
Maryland, including the following areas, in central Maryland, Anne
Arundel and Prince Georges. In northeast Maryland, Cecil. In
northern Maryland, Southeast Harford and Southern Baltimore. In
southern Maryland, Calvert, Charles and St. Marys.
* WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Numerous showers and thunderstorms will move across the area
this afternoon and evening. Rainfall rates of up to 2 inches
per hour are possible, which may lead to scattered instances
of flash flooding where the heavy rain persists the longest.
