Minnesota River at New Ulm affecting Blue Earth, Brown and Nicollet Counties. Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties. Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Lac qui Parle and Yellow Medicine Counties. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Minnesota... Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Sibley, Carver and Scott Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Minnesota River at Granite Falls HWY 212. * WHEN...Until Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...At 885.0 feet, Flood waters begin to reach the alley way along the river at the foot bridge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 915 AM CDT Thursday, the stage was 886.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 915 AM CDT Thursday was 886.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Sunday morning and continue falling to 884.3 feet Thursday, July 17. - Flood stage is 885.0 feet.
