Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 feet today, diminishing to
between 6 and 8 feet near midnight.
* WHERE...East facing reefs of Kosrae.
* WHEN...Until 6 AM ChST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized
beach erosion.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevated trade swell continues to produce
hazardous surf along east facing reefs. Hazardous surf will slowly
subside overnight as trade-wind swell decreases.
