* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the
following county, Berkeley.
* WHEN...Until 830 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 602 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen. Flooding may rapidly develop across areas
that flooded Friday afternoon across Oakatee, College Park,
and Goose Creek. At 6 PM, traffic map reports indicated
roadway flooding on North Goose Creek Blvd near the
intersection with Stephanie Drive.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
