At 911 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles northeast of Aiken State Park, or 17 miles southeast of Batesburg-Leesville, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Orangeburg, Williston, Blackville, Gaston, Claflin College, South Carolina State University, Aiken State Park, Edisto Gardens, Swansea, Wagener, North, Pelion, Springfield, Salley, Neeses, Norway, Perry, Elko, Woodford, and Livingston. This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 29 and 32.
