Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in North
Carolina...
Cape Fear River At William O Huske Lock And Dam 3 affecting
Bladen and Cumberland Counties.
Lumber River Near Lumberton affecting Robeson County.
...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in South
Carolina...
Little Pee Dee River At Galivants Ferry affecting Marion and
Horry Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Cape Fear River at William O Huske Lock And Dam 3.
* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 42.0 feet, Water levels will top the navigational
lock and equipment must be removed. Minor flooding will occur on
land adjacent to the east bank of the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 43.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow morning and continue falling to 39.9 feet Friday
morning.
- Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
