Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
Areas of dense fog, with visibilities locally reduced to a quarter
mile or less, have formed across central PA. It is likely that the
fog will persist until later this morning, probably not burning
off until 8 or 9 am.
Early morning commuters should be prepared for rapidly changing
conditions, including locally poor visibilities. Please allow
sufficient distance between yourself and the vehicle in front of
you, and if needed, allow yourself extra time to reach your
destination.
