* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following county, Tazewell. * WHEN...Until 1115 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1035 PM EDT, Doppler radar estimates that between 1 and 3 inches of rain has fallen since 730 PM. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Laurel Creek, Tumbling Creek, Little River, Clinch River, Indian Creek, Pounding Mill Branch and Little Tumbling Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area.
