* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and northeast New
Mexico, including the following areas, in central New Mexico,
South Central Mountains. In north central New Mexico, East Slopes
Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Southern Sangre de Cristo
Mountains. In northeast New Mexico, Northeast Highlands. This
includes the Ruidoso area burn scars and all of the Hermits Peak
Calf Canyon burn scar.
* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Thunderstorms moving slowly north with rainfall rates of 1 to
3 inches per hour are expected Tuesday.
