to take action should flooding develop.
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan
* WHEN...Through late Saturday night.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- An unsettled pattern caused by Tropical Depression 12W and
the monsoon surge in its wake is likely to produce heavy
showers and thunderstorms, with a flash flooding risk to the
region for at least the next several days. Total rainfall of
8 to 12 inches, with locally higher amounts possible through
Saturday night.
