At 807 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Macomb Township to near Sterling Heights to near Troy. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Warren, St. Clair Shores, Mount Clemens, New Baltimore, Richmond, St. Clair, Algonac, Sterling Heights, Rochester, Marine City, Clinton, Harsens Island, Macomb Township, Roseville, Eastpointe, Grosse Pointe Woods, Fraser, Harper Woods, Center Line, and Utica. People attending Sterlingfest , and Jimmy Johns Field should seek safe shelter immediately!
