Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southern New Jersey, including the following
county, Cape May.
* WHEN...Until 1245 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many
areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 945 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned
area with standing water in some low lying areas and
intersections being reported. Rainfall is slow to drain with
it being around high tide. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area.

Cape May, West Cape May and North Cape May.
