At 802 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Aitkin, or 16
miles north of Mille Lacs Lake, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported quarter-sized hail in
Aitkin at 7:53 AM.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
McGregor and Mille Lacs Band East Lake Area.
