* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following
area, Eastern Lincoln County.
* WHEN...Until 9 PM MDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- With rich monsoon moisture crossing some thunderstorms will
be capable of producing heavy rain at rates near 2 inches per
hour this afternoon and early evening. Much of eastern
Lincoln County received around 0.5 to 1.75 inches of rain
Tuesday afternoon and evening, and these locations will be
especially susceptible to rapid runoff and flash flooding.
