At 412 PM EDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Several roads are closed in Potomac due to flooding. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area.
