At 534 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with very heavy rain over southern Mason County to the west of Loyal Valley. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches have occurred, and an additional half to three quarters of an inch is expected through 6 PM. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
