Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
At 308 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Midway to 12 miles north of Ball to near Timber Trails. Movement was south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Jena, Midway, Pollock, Dry Prong, Nebo, Zenoria, Rogers, Catahoula Lake, Fishville, and Bentley.
