Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
At 700 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Coon Creek Lake to 9 miles northwest of
Fairfield. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Fairfield, Fairfield Lake, and Fairfield Lake State Park around
705 AM CDT.
Montalba around 720 AM CDT.
Other locations impacted by these storms include Mustang, Bois D'arc,
Stewards Mill, Streetman, Star Harbor, Blackfoot, Cayuga, Mildred,
Cross Roads, and Yard.
This includes Interstate 45 between mile markers 191 and 216, and
between mile markers 221 and 224.
