The National Weather Service in Elko has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from 11 AM PDT Wednesday morning until 10 PM PDT Wednesday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 427. * WIND...Sustained south to southwest winds near 20 mph, with gusts near 35 mph. * HUMIDITY...Minimum relative humidity values as low as 5 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
