.Recent heavy rainfall from thunderstorms has led to rises along the
James River in central South Dakota.

* WHERE...James River at Huron.
* WHEN...From Thursday evening to Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, Rural and agricultural areas begin to
experience flooding
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 11.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening to a crest around 12.1 feet Friday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 11.5 feet.
