Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 438 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain extending from Riverside and Wilmington Island to the Savannah River Entrance. This area heavy rain will impact Downtown Savannah and nearby communities through 545 AM. A quick 1 to 2 inches of rain could fall, resulting in urban flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pooler, Tybee Island, Midtown Savannah, Downtown Savannah, Hutchinson Island, Hunter Army Airfield, Wilmington Island, Windsor Forest, Fort Pulaski National Monument and Garden City.
