Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following
counties, Liberty, Long and McIntosh.
* WHEN...Until 900 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 703 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain moving into
much of McIntosh County from off the Atlantic. This activity
will spread northwest through 9 AM. As much as 1 to 3 inches
of rain have already fallen in some areas this morning. An
additional 1 to 3 inches could fall through 9 AM, resulting
in minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas.

Meridian, Carnigan and Shellman Bluff.
