The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 2 PM to 8 PM PDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Moderate to strong winds combined with critically
low relative humidity can lead to rapid growth and spread of
new and existing fires. Outdoor burning is banned during fire
season.
* AFFECTED AREA...The Fremont Winema National Forest in Fire
Weather Zone 624, including from Klamath Falls to Chemult
over to Lakeview.
* WIND...West 10 to 15 mph with gusts 25 to 30 mph.
* HUMIDITY...9 to 15 percent today, 12 to 18 percent on Wednesday.
