At 1101 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Johnson Lake Barrens Natural Area to 11 miles east of Rhinelander, or extending from 21 miles northwest of Eagle River to 11 miles east of Rhinelander, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Tipler and Wisconsin Slough Natural Area around 1145 AM CDT. Fern and Whisker Lake Wilderness around 1155 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this strong thunderstorm include Clearwater Lake, Three Lakes, Upper Buckatabon Springs Natural Area, Starks, Sugar Camp, Star Lake, Conover, Gagen, Monico and Scott Lake-Shelp Lake Natural Area.
