Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
At 1101 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from near Johnson Lake Barrens Natural Area
to 11 miles east of Rhinelander, or extending from 21 miles
northwest of Eagle River to 11 miles east of Rhinelander, moving
east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Tipler and Wisconsin Slough Natural Area around 1145 AM CDT.
Fern and Whisker Lake Wilderness around 1155 AM CDT.

Clearwater Lake, Three Lakes, Upper Buckatabon Springs Natural Area,
Starks, Sugar Camp, Star Lake, Conover, Gagen, Monico and Scott
Lake-Shelp Lake Natural Area.
