* WHERE...Portions of northeast Florida, including the following
areas, Coastal Duval, Coastal Nassau, Inland Nassau, South Central
Duval, Trout River and Western Duval and southeast Georgia,
including the following areas, Appling, Atkinson, Bacon, Brantley,
Clinch, Coastal Camden, Coastal Glynn, Coffee, Echols, Inland
Camden, Inland Glynn, Jeff Davis, Northeastern Charlton, Northern
Ware, Pierce, Southern Ware, Wayne and Western Charlton.
* WHEN...From 10 AM EDT this morning through late tonight.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A slow moving frontal boundary across southeastern Georgia
will help develop showers and thunderstorms today into the
evening. High rainfall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour are
likely in stronger showers and storms, with localized total
rainfall amounts
of 4 to 6 inches, which could cause flash flooding.
