Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
A strong thunderstorm with the potential to produce up to 1 inch of
rain per hour may cause urban and small stream flooding in low lying
areas.
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of Lane County along I-5 including Creswell,
Dexter, Goshen and other surrounding areas.
* WHEN...Until 630 AM PDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 534 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding.
