* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Dimmit, Frio and Zavala. * WHEN...Until 1215 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 904 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Crystal City, Carrizo Springs, Big Wells, Batesville, La Pryor, Asherton, Las Colonias, Chula Vista-River Spur, Loma Vista, Brundage, Winter Haven, Carrizo Hill and Las Vegas. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
