* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of western North Carolina, including the following county, Graham. * WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 829 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen just west of Joanna Bald. Watch for rapidly rising water along Long and Panther Creeks. Be wary of water covering portions of Long Creek Road heading into the Milltown area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area.
