If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one half foot of
inundation above ground level in low lying areas due to tidal
flooding. For the Coastal Flood Watch, up to one foot of
inundation above ground level possible in low lying areas due
to tidal flooding.
* WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.
* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, ongoing until 7 AM EDT
this morning. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from late tonight
through Friday morning, especially around the time of high tide.
* IMPACTS...At 3.2 feet, water begins to approach businesses on
Dock Street in Annapolis. The City Dock parking lot is
flooded. Compromise Street is flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet above
normal. The affected high tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy
is at 4:10 AM.
