At 554 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Cotton Center, or 11 miles northeast of Gila Bend, moving north at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of Maricopa County. This includes the following highways... AZ Route 238 between mile markers 8 and 13. AZ Route 85 between mile markers 125 and 136.
