At 548 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles northeast of Proctorville, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Huntington, Chesapeake, Proctorville, Eleanor, Buffalo, Burlington, Crown City, Athalia, Leon, Southside, Scottown, Ashton, Grimms Landing, Green Bottom, and Fraziers Bottom. This includes Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 6 and 7.
