docked vessels are strongly encouraged. People planning a trip
onto the water on Friday should seriously consider staying in

* WHAT...South winds around 40 mph with gusts up to 70 mph
expected.
* WHERE...Petersburg Borough, Western Kupreanof Island and Kuiu
Island and City and Borough of Wrangell.
* WHEN...From 10 AM to 10 PM AKDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...High winds will blow around unsecured objects and
may damage property and cause power outages. Travel will be
difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highest wind speeds are expected to be
associated with a wind shift from the east to the south. At
this time, expecting this wind shift to occur in the early
afternoon Friday.
