At 303 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Johnston, or 13 miles southwest of Batesburg-Leesville, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Batesburg-Leesville, Johnston, Ridge Spring, Saluda County Airport, Monetta, Ward, Strom Thurmond High School, Saluda Co Sheriff's Office, Fredonia, Harmony, Emory, Hibernia, Kneece, and Saluda High School.
