At 108 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Soddy-Daisy, or 11 miles east of Dunlap, moving southwest at 10 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Soddy-Daisy, Lakesite, Sale Creek, Flat Top Mountain, North Chickamauga Creek Gorge, Mowbray Mountain, Middle Valley, Shady Grove, and Falling Water.
