HEAVY WET SNOW ALONG KLONDIKE HIGHWAY... .A front tracked through the area last night and brought snow and wind to the area. Early this morning, evidence points to the snow has switched to a heavy/wet snow and will continue to switch to a rain/snow mix this morning. * WHAT...Wet snowy mix. Additional snow accumulations of up to 2 inches. * WHERE...Klondike Highway, including White Pass, mainly above 2500 ft. * WHEN...Until 1 PM AKDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...According to local sensors and webcam imagery in the area, the snow from overnight has begun a transition to a rain/snow mix. Slushy snow will continue through the morning.
