Patchy dense fog has developed and is expected to linger overnight. The fog is not only affecting some valley locations, as some ridgetop locations such as on roadways that cross Pine Mountain and Black Mountain including U.S. 23, U.S. 119, U.S. 421, and KY 160 will be affected. If traveling overnight, be on the alert for sudden changes in visibility. Visibilities may be quickly reduced to a quarter of a mile or less in a short distances. Slow down, use your headlights, leave plenty of distance ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach your destination.
