If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service office in OXNARD.
The combination of afternoon relative humidity values between 20 and 30 percent and westerly to northwesterly winds that will gust mostly between 25 to 30 mph will produce increased fire danger Sunday. Outdoor burning is discouraged. Please consult your local burn permitting authorities as to whether burning is allowed. If you must burn, use extreme caution, as fires can spread rapidly under these conditions.
