If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Numerous snow showers across northern Michigan, combined with
gusty northwest winds of 30 mph, will create brief periods of very
low visibility through this afternoon. Although snow accumulations
may be relatively minor in most areas, the areas of very low
visibility will create hazardous travel at times.
If traveling across northern Michigan through this afternoon, be
prepared for low visibility areas and hazardous conditions. Turn
your headlights on and slow down.
