Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following
counties, western San Luis Obispo and western Santa Barbara.
* WHEN...Until noon PST.
* IMPACTS...Minor mud and debris flow are possible near recent burn
scars including western portion of the Gifford and the Lake burn
scars. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water
over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is
occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 901 AM PST, Rainfall rates across the advisory area are
expected to be between 0.25 to 0.50 inches per hour. There is
a slight chance of thunderstorms which could produce locally
higher rates. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.

Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Lompoc, Morro
Bay, Pismo Beach, Santa Ynez, Point Conception, Arroyo
Grande, Nipomo, Cambria, Solvang, Vandenberg Space Force
Base, Orcutt, Los Alamos, Highway 101 through Gaviota State
Park, Refugio State Beach, El Capitan State Beach, Isla Vista
and Point Piedras Blancas.
