Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
West to southwest wind gusts as high as 35 to 45 mph can be
expected through daybreak, with gusts settling into the 30 to 35
mph range for the remainder of the day. Most of the rain and snow
has come to an end, but temperatures falling into the upper 20s
this morning may result in some re-freezing of melted snow on
roadways along with some patchy drifting snow. Some roads are
also likely snow covered from the heavy snowfall yesterday.
Motorists should be alert for slick road conditions and gusty
winds this morning.
