Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
* WHAT...Hazardous surf of 7 to 10 ft.
* WHERE...North and east facing reefs of Kosrae. North facing
reefs of Pohnpei.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A long period northerly swell emanating
from a distant weather system combined with a large northeast
trade swell are producing hazardous surf conditions for Pohnpei
and Kosrae. Surf conditions look to remain hazardous through at
least Thursday afternoon.
