12 children taken to hospital after bus accident

Twelve children have been taken to Kosair Children’s Hospital for treatment after the bus they were riding on was involved in an accident. According to MetroSafe, the accident was reported at 11:55 a.m. at the intersection of Buechel Bypass and Hikes Lane. According to John Miller of Miller Transportation, the bus was one of two from his company that was carrying children from a YMCA Day Camp at Watterson Elementary to an off-campus field trip.
