Residents Demand More For Water Main Break Damage

Chanhassen residents told the city council Monday night that $2,500 isn’t enough to cover the damage caused by a water main break that filled their homes with sewage last month. The city came up with the $2,500 to placate residents after the city’s insurance company denied the resident’s claims for a second time. The amount is the same the city paid to a homeowner last year for water main break damage.
