7 dead, thousands without power after violent storms in Arkansas

Almost 67,000 customers were without power in Arkansas Tuesday morning after a rash of severe storms tore through the state a day earlier, killing at least seven people and destroying more than a dozen homes. The weather also spawned a tornado that struck an Air Force base, military officials said, and prompted the Arkansas governor to declare a state of emergency. And the severe weather will continue across parts of the South. The line of severe storms was continuing to push eastward on Tuesday, packing torrential rains and the possibility of more severe weather...
