Man Dies Trying To Escape Stuck Elevator In Milwaukee

A man fell to his death while trying to escape a stuck elevator on Milwaukee’s east side Monday night. Milwaukee police said the accident happened shortly before 11 p.m. Monday inside the Edgewater Terrace residential building at 1707 N. Prospect Ave. According to a report from the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s office, police were called to the scene at 10:50 p.m. for a report of the elevator being stuck between the 12th and 13th floors of the building.
