
A magnitude-6.7 earthquake was reported off Canadas Pacific coast Friday afternoon. There were no immediate reports of damage, and no tsunami warning was immediately issued. The quake struck at 3:41 p.m. ET about 173 miles west of Vancouver and 87 miles south-southeast of Port Hardy on the west coast of Vancouver Island, the U.S. Geological Survey said. Slight rattling from was felt as far away as Seattle, Reuters reported, and in Bellingham, Wash., according to NBC station KING-TV of Seattle.
