Plane Crashes in Northeast Midland, Pilot Identified

A small plane crashed in a northeast Midland neighborhood early Friday morning as it was making its approach to the Midland Airpark. The plane clipped the garage of one home near Trevino and Casper. The plane, which is a Beechcraft King Air F-90 GT, then crossed the alley and crashed into another home. That home then burst into flames. Amazingly, the pilot who has been identified as 53-year-old Page Mund, only suffered a broken arm during the accident and is in stable condition at the hospital. Mund is from Needville, Texas.
