Firefighter battles blaze with helmet camera rolling

 Tuesday, May 1, 2012

A Milwaukee firefighter raced inside a burning apartment building with a camera on his helmet, capturing all the action. Authorities said residents had to jump from windows to escape the flames that razed a four-plex apartment building on 87th Street and Fond du Lac Avenue on Tuesday. One of the firefighters provided a rare look at the fire. With a camera mounted on his helmet, the firefighter is seen in a video posted on YouTube assessing the situation and making preparations to enter the apartment.
