A car drove straight through a home in Cherokee County, cutting a path of destruction into the back yard and ejecting the driver. The crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. on Cedar Mill Crossing and Catawba Drive. Homeowner Gordy McDowell was at work when the car barreled through. "One of my neighbors called. I work in Atlanta so it was a long drive home," McDowell told Channel 2’s Manuel Bojorquez. Strewn through his back yard were a Jet Ski, tools, insulation and personal belongings.
