Car-bus collision injures 6 in Tempe

A speeding Camaro taking a wide right onto West Baseline Road in Tempe Sunday evening hit a median and smashed into a city bus, sending six people to area hospitals, two with life-threatening injuries, police said. Alcohol is suspected as a factor in the 5:30 p.m. crash that took place at the intersection of West Baseline Road and South Priest Drive, said Tempe Lieutenant Jeffrey Glover.
